Missouri Council for In-Home Services is an organization for those who provide in-home healthcare services to elderly and people with disabilities. These services include, but are not limited to, personal care, housekeeping, respite, nursing visits, advanced personal care, chore services, personal care and companion, and assistance with errands.
To advance in-home services as the preferred care option for Missouri communities; To provide information exchange, education, and legislative representation essential to the success of member agencies and the home care industry, and To promote leadership in ethical business practices and highest standards of client care.

Home Care Services
In-home agencies provide a variety of services, including Missouri Care Options, Home Health Care, Adult Day Care, Hospice, and Consumer Directed Services. Depending on eligibility levels, each of these services may be paid for through Medicaid. For additional information on home care services and major payers for these services, please click here.
Home Care Insurance Program
Recently, the Council established a new Home Care Insurance Program. The program, offered exclusively to Council members, offers savings on insurance costs anywhere from 15% to over 30% on a variety of insurance needs, including property, crime, automobile, general liability, professional liability, directors and officers, and umbrella liability coverages. All these coverages are written with one carrier, Philadelphia Insurance Company, with added benefits while working exclusively with Best Choice Insurance and Mike Boone.
