MCHS Board & Committee Meetings

Board Meetings

Meetings are held on a monthly basis in Jefferson City for the MCHS Board of Directors. All Council members are invited and encouraged to attend these important meetings. For those members unable to travel to Jefferson City, the Council has implemented the option of joining ‘live’ by teleconference for the low fee of $15/meeting. Topics during board meetings include: up to the minute Capitol updates from the Council’s legislative consultant, updates on Department of Health and Senior Services happenings, and an open forum for any issues affecting the in-home industry (i.e. monitorings, workers’ compensation costs, etc.). The meetings provide a great venue for networking and informational sharing amongst leaders of the in-home industry.

Committee Meetings

Typically committee meetings are held in conjunction with the monthly board meetings.  During the legislative session (January-May) the legislative committee meets every Friday at 11:00 a.m. by teleconference to discuss items occurring in the state capitol during the week.
